TOWARDS A MORE RESILIENT PHILIPPINES!

Towards a more resilient Philippines!     Philippines is knows for its breathtaking natural beauty, vibrant culture, and the indomitable spirit of its people. However, we are also all too familiar with the vulnerabilities that accompany living in a disaster-prone region. With an average of 20 typhoons annually, as well as the constant threat of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Resilience is not a challenge that can be met solely by government initiatives. It requires the active involvement of our communities. Local knowledge, skills, and traditions should be harnessed to build resilient communities from the grassroots level. We must empower our people with the tools and awareness necessary to confront and overcome adversity. I am convienced that by working together we can create a better future for our country. We may face hardships but we will take one small step in being one a successful country. Reference: https://www.bloger.com https://www.delcusay.com/2013/11/resilien...
